HORTUS Nailworks (formerly Lushlife) has long been a favorite sanctuary of mine. No matter what life throws at me, I always feel like I can escape into the plant filled, sunny space for an hour of organic pampering and emerge refreshed. Where else can you get a toxin-free manicure, sugared hair removal (a more sanitary and civilized, eco friendly alternative to waxing!) and a moment to yourself? It’s like a tiny Eden right in the middle of manic Manhattan.
